Power or strength? For many, these two terms mean the same. But, there is a difference.

Strength = how much you can lift or how much force you can generate.

Power = explosive strength or how much force you can generate very quickly. Being explosive.

If you need more power quickly - check this resource:

Brain - Sports Psychology
by Jim Guerci

Sport psychology is a discipline that blends the observation of human behaviors with the excitement of athletics. When a professional in sport psychology observes an athlete, the goal is to notice behaviors that can be eliminated or improved in order to improve the athlete's performance. These professionals can work in the research of sport psychology or teach those who want to become sport psychologists, but their main function is often working with athletic teams or fitness clubs to develop and implement motivational programs that will enhance athletic performance. Understanding what sport psychologists do will help you to determine if you have the need for consulting.

On the flipside, he must also be agile and quick on his feet. And the greatest players can disappear down the field in a flash, hopefully with the ball in hand.

If you're thinking that this 'great' football player sounds almost super-human, you're not very far off the mark. Especially when you consider that he must be able to think and make quick decisions even while he's performing all this magic on the field. But don't dismay, if you have a goal to become a better football player, you can hone your athletic skill to be this diverse. Here are a few football training tips for a great, all-around on field performance.
