by Ethan C Kalvin

Research now is revealing the devastating effects that a sedentary lifestyle and work day have on the body. It used to be that setting at a desk all day way the dream job and blessing could in reality be a curse. Staying healthy must include activity, if not, you will experience circulation problems as well as back pain and neck issues.

People who spend massive amounts of time looking into the computer screen do get more headaches and deal with vision problems more often than persons who don't. It is now believed that setting too long behind a desk is more dangerous than anyone previously thought. These individuals tend to practice bad eating habits, including more frequent snacks, and have increased weight noticeable around the middle which research also shows causes even more health problems and more dangerous.

Blue Weights - Back Pain
By: Royce Venere

The office-based sedentary lifestyle that we lead today is punishing our bodies. Because we rarely get the chance to exercise, obesity levels have risen to staggering levels in our country and more and more people are dying prematurely from high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease as a result of it. While others don't necessarily get to this point, another common effect of being hunched in front of our computers all day is just as painful: Back pain affects a great majority of the American population and is a lingering ailment that most suffer in silent agony.

It has long been proved that any form of exercise alleviates back pain to a certain degree. And this explains why the active and athletic among us rarely report pains of any kind unless they are the result of injuries or overtraining. For most individuals, the easiest types of exercises to engage in are cardiovascular workouts like walking, jogging and running. While these aerobic exercises are greatly beneficial for weight loss, they only do so little for one who is experiencing back pain.

Feeling elbow pain in your weight lifting endeavors can be very annoying and frustrating, let alone maybe downright excruciating. Usually the pain becomes chronic, that is, it seems to never go away. You may be given the advice by a health care professional to rest completely by not lifting weights at all for awhile. Then, you start lifting again and the pain is back. Sometimes just turning a door handle or picking up a small object is painful. First of all, take the mystery out of your ailment; see a doctor for the proper diagnosis. If it is something as serious as a tear, you may only be making it worse by working out.

Shoulder Injury
Author: SarahHaines

Whether you are using bodybuilding supplements or not; there is always a risk of injury in the gym, you can see why injuries happen as you simply won’t build muscle if you don’t push yourself out of your comfort zone. If you want to build muscle you should always be running close to or at your maximum capability. Bench press shoulder injuries are one of the 4 most common injuries, along with lower back, knee and wrist injuries. With weight lifting programs, you constantly need to be upping your performance, so any kind of injury can seriously impede your progress or halt it altogether.

Following a shoulder injury, whether it is from a bench press, dead lift or otherwise, you really need to take things slowly. If you return to the gym thinking you can merely push through the pain then you may end up doing permanent damage to your muscles.
