If you have been working out for some time, you have undoubtedly been aware of the fact that you need to, on occasion do things a bit differently in order to keep building muscles. Reason being your body adapts to your workout routine and your muscle building capability slows down to a crawl. Let me share a few techniques that can help you to keep things fresh and assist you in overcoming your plateaus when trying to build more muscles.
Take The Exercises You've Been Doing And Do Them Backwards
To give your system a good shock and keep things fresh, do your exercise routine backwards. null What you would do then is work your abs, glutes, hamstrings, then quads on your next workout. Don't forget to keep doing your other workouts in reverse as well. This changes the stress and recovery time of different muscle groups and keeps your body guessing. This should get your body to start giving your more gains.
Perform Body Weight Workouts
Include body weight exercises into your workout routine. Not only are these exercises effective, but they really add more variety. Some of the more effective body weight workouts include: push ups, chin ups, pull ups, dips, and one-legged squats. Try to work your way up to being able to do 10 of each as a measure of your strength.
Lift More Than Your Previous Workout Or Stop
When trying to build more muscles, you should be pushing yourself to lift more than you did on your previous workout; but what if you can't? Rerack your weight and head back home. You need to give your body more time to recuperate. Most people would just keep going and get a bad workout which simply extends their recovery time.
Stop Training Consecutively
You are not doing yourself any favors by working out for 3 days straight. Doing this is incredibly taxing on your body and can possibly cause chronic injuries. You need to give your body some time to recuperate. Give your body a break so it can repair itself and get stronger. Just don't work out more than 2 days in a row as that is just a recipe for disaster.
I hope these tips will help you out with blasting through your plateaus and building the dream physique that you love and women absolutely adore.
