Apple Cider Vinegar is made from the fermentation of apple cider. The sugar contained in the cider is broken down by the bacteria and yeast into alcohol first then it becomes vinegar. The sufferers registered better blood sugar levels when they woke up the following morning. According to a 2006 study, rats that were given doses of apple cider vinegar for 19 days saw a significant reduction with their low-density lipoprotein and even triglyceride levels. It also raised to a significant level the high-density lipoprotein which counters the harmful blood fat.

 

Weight loss

A study in 2009 revealed the efficacy of apple cider vinegar to bring down body fat. People that consumed the vinegar formulation for 12 weeks reported significant weight loss. In tests involving mice, the acetic acid prevented the accumulation of fat and some liver fats.

 

Skin problems

Well, what do you know; it seems that apple cider vinegar could also make you look prettier. We all know that apple cider vinegar has anti-bacterial properties. That is why it makes sense to use it as a topical astringent to help prevent acne in acne-prone skin. Actually there are people that take a bath with water mixed with parts of apple cider vinegar. A cup of vinegar added with Epsom salts to a lukewarm bath can help draw the toxins out from the body. It is also great with other skin diseases such as eczema and even warts. Warts can disappear from the skin by soaking a piece of cotton with apple cider vinegar and attach it to a wart and repeat it each night until the wart disappears.

 

Apple cider vinegar may be a wonder chemical but it may interact with other drugs. It is important to clear things with your doctor before getting into the fad. Apple cider may impact the efficacy of your maintenance drugs so use it with caution. Laxatives and certain anti-diabetic drugs may interact with cider vinegar.
