Power or strength? For many, these two terms mean the same. But, there is a difference.

Strength = how much you can lift or how much force you can generate.

Power = explosive strength or how much force you can generate very quickly. Being explosive.

The perfect baseball swing takes a combination of patience, hard work, and the correct sports training equipment. With a few simple tips and some practice, anyone can add the power and accuracy they need to their swing quickly and safely.

A serious baseball player needs specialized gear and equipment to perfect their game. While cross training may help in certain instances, soccer and basketball training equipment just won't cut it. A good batting cage can be an invaluable asset to any player. Planning batting practice before or after strength training is an important part of any program. This can be especially important for developing players of younger ages who have not reached their full size. If batting cages are inaccessible, a simple pitching machine is a great alternative for those on a budget. Be sure to check the features of the machine to be sure it can maintain the correct speeds needed for training.
